MEET OUR DOCTORS



Dr. Kelley Crabtree

Dr. Kelley Crabtree grew up in Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After working in Maryland for a year, she found her way to Durham and Carver Street Animal Hospital in September of 1996. She has been here helping to take care of our furry family ever since.


Dr. Curtis Bashor

Dr. Curtis Bashor received his DVM at University of Tennessee in 1993 and has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery ever since. In 2004, he moved to North Carolina with his wife and began working at Carver Street Animal Hospital. Dr. Bashor and his wife share their home with their standard poodle, Moby and 2 cats, Mortimer and Cati, who run the place.


Dr. Elizabeth Sankey

Dr. Elizabeth Sankey graduated from The Ohio State University in 1999, having grown up in Columbus, Ohio. She did her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She enjoyed the area so much that she returned and joined Carver Street Animal Hospital in 1999. She and her husband, Ray, have 2 children, Ann Cameron and Charlie; and 2 dogs, "Bonnie" and "James". Dr. Sankey has a special interest in pet behavior. She loves working with both cats and dogs, and enjoys the variety and the challenges that Veterinary practice brings.


Dr. Jackie Soule

Dr. Jackie Soule attended NC State for undergraduate and veterinary school, graduating in 2001. She is a Durham native and has been with Carver Street Animal Hospital since 2005. She lives in Rougement with her husband Rob, sons Zachary and Nathan, and cat Sophie.


Dr. Amy Gillian

Dr. Amy Gillian grew up in Charleston, WV. She recevied her BS in Biochemistry and Anaerobic Microbiology from Virginia Tech, where she played lacrosse and met her husband, Jason. She graduated from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and worked for 6 years in Charlottesville, Virginia. She recently relocated to Durham with her family, which includes 2 rescued Border Collies, Gunner and Georgia, and 2 rescued cats, Bizou and Bluebear. She is very excited to be in the Triangle and at Carver Street Animal Hospital.
