We would like to recognize our clients who volunteer their time with, or for, our animal friends. If you know of anyone you would like to honor, please email us with their name and how they volunteer. We would love to mention their service.
Linda Underwood has been involved with IAR (Independent Animal Rescue) for a while. She is especially involved with the feral cats and those cats up for adoption. She uses her talents to create comfortable and colorful blankets for those looking to be adopted and for the carriers. She has generously agreed to bring some to our clinic for you to purchase. ALL the proceeds benefit IAR. The material is also bought from a place that gives all proceeds to animal welfare also.
We are pleased to introduce you to our newest volunteer, Mrs. Sarah James. Sarah is an accomplished bookmark maker. She recycles greeting cards and laminates the cards with her own laminating machine. The bookmarks are available year-round and all donations go to the APS.
Jackie Rimmler has been using her hidden talents for the benefit of Durham APS. She uses scrap material to create Christmas ornaments, small purses/bags and beautiful matted artwork. All proceeds then go to APS. She has currently raised over $1000.00 to help those animals in need.
